Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born on March 4 1954. O'Hara is the proud recipient of several prizes which include the Genie Award. She was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honoured with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara first became known as an actress in 1974, as a member of The Second City in Toronto. Together with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the primary casting for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working with Candy on Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara was recognized for her stand-up and writing skills, winning the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the new Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
