Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political adviser who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson for US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a contributor to the election to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was then appointed as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. From 2005 until 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for Obama's reelection campaign for 2012. [20] Psaki was fired as the spokesperson of the United States Department of State, on February 11, 2013.  There was speculation Psaki would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 to be the director of communications. She was a part of the Obama administration until the end of its term.
